This documentary film series shines a spotlight on the hidden struggles of people living with the rare autoimmune condition myasthenia gravis (MG). Filmed entirely remotely during the COVID pandemic, the series captures intimate, moving scenes of real life with MG. Based on the overwhelming response from award shows, film festivals, and most importantly, from viewers in the MG community, A Mystery To Me succeeded in its two primary ambitions: to help document and validate the very real challenges of people who live with MG, and to drive greater awareness, understanding and empathy among the general public.
